My Tea Break With Alan Yip, Founder Of MIND EDGE!


It all started when I received an SMS greeting from Alan Yip, Founder of MIND EDGE, on the very morning of the New Year 2008.

After wishing him and his family well for the New Year, I followed up with a "Thank You" card to send it off to his office address as shown below.

He invited me to meet up at his office when I'm available right away through the modern and usual mean of communicating using our mobile to SMS when he received my "Thank You" card. Hence, we sat a following Wednesday to meet up.

'SMS' again to tell Alan that I have arrived at MIND EDGE. After a firm handshake and an introduction of ourselves, Alan took the time and efforts to show me around in this office as well as his training school.

A very inviting and conducive environment in MIND EDGE Training School! This is what I felt as I entered the school as Alan led me inside to his offices for all the trainers and the classrooms for conducting the lessons. As an educator, I must definitely highlight the trainer to students ratio of 1: 10 in MIND EDGE is a very conducive number to create a conducive and proper learning processes.

The classrooms are not only filled with bright colours to invite kids or students to learn, the classrooms also have excellent infrastructures to support excellent activity-based learning processes.
